馃崈聽Black Tea: This is a fully fermented tea. During processing, the leaves are withered without being killed off (no “kill-green” step), then rolled and fermented. This turns the tea polyphenols into red compounds, giving the tea its signature color. The dry leaves are dark and glossy, with a mellow flavor and a bright red soup. It often has a sweet aroma like malt or caramel.
